The PS profile defines a high-performance power solution, suitable for powering JAS nodes. The PS profile works alongside the CH and RP profiles to implement groups of nodes (i.e., boxes) within the JAS architecture. The SMAC and Communications profile implement connectivity and data transfer from PS nodes to other nodes in the system.

JAS Standard Hierarchy

This document describes the role of nodes built to the Power Supply (PS) Profile within the Joint Architecture Standard (JAS). The PS profile describes a node designed to interface to Spacecraft primary power, and output regulated secondary power to the JAS system.

The figure below shows a typical system built with the PS Profile.
