Profile(s)
CH
The CH profile defines the technologies that comprise the CH node, including both required and recommended components to define this standard node type. A CH node should be universally designed to minimize the number of unique instantiations of this profile. A block diagram of a CH node is shown below.
The primary components for CH node instantiations should include a radiation-hardened microprocessor, a radiation-hardened Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), memories, local point-of-load (POL) power conversion, System Monitoring and Communication (SMAC) functionality, and expansion capability. Subsequent sections will describe these features in more detail.
